With nearly 30 years of culinary experience in five-star hotels and resorts, Chef Li joined the hotel’s culinary team, bringing his global experience working in fine dining restaurants and hotels in China, Cyprus, Maldives, India, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.

Chef Li is a master in all aspects of Chinese cuisine, in turn he is very focused on only the best product to showcase his proud heritage. His contemporary presentation of classic Chinese dishes combines delicious tastes with art to create exceptional masterpieces.

Cooking has become an essential part of Chef Li’s lifestyle. In his free time and during vacation trips, he would scour different places to try local foods and discover new ingredients and experiences that he can bring to his creations.

This passion in his life and work is the reason behind many of his cooking inspirations.

Before joining JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, Chef Li was the first Chinese Executive Chef in Saudi Arabia’s Royal Kitchen, serving the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Chef Li was also the head of culinary team at the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing, China, serving Jacques Rogge, the eighth president of the International Olympic Committee, and members of the British and Saudi Arabia’s Royal Families.

As the Chinese Executive Chef of JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, Chef Li will oversee the products and operation of an award winning Man Ho Chinese Restaurant, as well as the hotel’s Chinese catering and events. He strives to bring guests authentic Chinese cuisine and a unique sensory experience that encompasses both vision and taste with his cooking and food presentation. His arrival injects new energy and excitement to both Man Ho and JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, and will take guests on an unforgettable Chinese culinary experience.
