He is enthusiastic about organic and fresh produce, and is committed to provide a wide variety of buffet items and savory hot pots. As a Thai-cuisine aficinado, he also ensures a proper selection of Thai cuisine and desserts for all guests to enjoy the taste of authentic local flavors.
Born in India’s vibrant capital of New Delhi, Chef Pradeep Semwal brings his passion for Indian cuisine to international tables at Marriott Café. Having been influenced by his mother’s home cooking since youth, he strongly believes in honest, authentic cuisine. With a wealth of experience in luxury hotels such as the Taj Mahal Hotel New Delhi, The Grand Hotel New Delhi, and the Park Hotel New Delhi, he took his skills to Bangkok by accepting a position at Gaggan, consistently recognized as one of Asia’s pioneers in molecular Indian cuisine. Since joining our culinary team at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok. he makes a point to never stop learning but still remains rooted in classic Indian recipes and techniques.
